Dr. Daniele Lyman-Torres (She/Her/Hers) has served the Greater Rochester community in key leadership roles for more than 22 years. Dr. Lyman-Torres served as a Commissioner for the City of Rochester, where she was charged with human services and recreation. She served as President and CEO of the Arc of Yates, as COO for RGRTA and Trillium Health and held key positions for United Way of Greater Rochester and Heritage Christian Services.

Dr. Lyman-Torres earned her doctorate of education in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher University, where she now teaches future leaders. She also holds a Bachelors in Business Management and a Masters in Strategic Leadership from Roberts Wesleyan University. Sheila Girard (She/Her/Hers) joined Bivona in October 2018. Sheila is a highly qualified finance leader who has led corporations and nonprofits in Arizona and New York State. She describes herself as a mission-driven person passionate about working within communities.

Anna Potter

Anna Potter (She/Her/Hers) joined Bivona Child Advocacy Center in May of 2010. Anna has worked with victims and families of sexual assault for more than 20 years. She previously was the Regional Manager of Rape Crisis Service of Planned Parenthood. Anna is a certified sexual assault counselor/advocate and received her BA in Sociology/Psychology from SUNY Geneseo






Stefanie Szwejbka

Since receiving her Masters in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina, Stefanie has dedicated her career to advocating for victims of violence and childhood abuse. In 2012, Stefanie joined Bivona Child Advocacy Center as the Prevention Education and Outreach Specialist where she spearheaded the child abuse prevention training initiative to educate the community about the effects of child abuse and how to respond.  Stefanie became a Certified Instructor for Darkness to Light, enabling her to begin training trainers across the state to educate adults on how to protect children from sexual abuse. As the Director of Community Education, Stefanie continues to grow prevention efforts in upstate NY by coordinating and implementing Erin’s Law education to students in local school districts using the Monique Burr Foundation curricula.

Jaime Anderson, MA, CFRE

Jaime Anderson (She/Her/Hers) joined Bivona Child Advocacy Center in December 2017. Jaime has spent her entire career in non-profit fundraising and was previously the Executive Director for the American Lung Association’s Western New York and Vermont markets. She has a BA from Niagara University and an MA from The College at Brockport. Jaime served on the Dreams from Drake Board of Directors and supports several youth-serving organizations in the Rochester community. Jaime was recently selected to join Leadership Rochester’s class of 2023 Signature Program.
