The Hope Rising Scholarship was established in February 2022 to support the academic success of students enrolled at Monroe Community College who have received services from Bivona Child Advocacy Center since 2011 and are overcoming extraordinary personal circumstances.

Scholarship Amount: $3,500 ($1,750 Fall 2023/$1,750 Spring 2024)
The awarded amount is based on the recipient’s unmet need as determined by MCC’s Financial Aid office. Funds are dispersed by semester to cover the cost of books, tuition, and fees. The Hope Rising Scholarship does not cover the cost of room & board.

Eligibility:

• Full or Part-time students

• Demonstrated financial need

• Students who received services from Bivona Child Advocacy Center no earlier than 2011. This will be verified by Bivona Child Advocacy Center.
