Events Internship

The Events Intern will work directly with Bivona Child Advocacy Center’s Development Team to research corporate prospects, solicit in-kind gifts, and assist with event logistics, and volunteer coordination.  This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and motivated individual to develop skills in nonprofit development work and learn about child advocacy. This internship is an unpaid internship.

Family Advocate - Full Time

The Family Advocate provides direct advocacy support services to child victims and non-offending family members. The Family Advocate monitors case progress, maintains client files and documents services provided accordingly. The Family Advocate performs the job duties according to professional ethics, maintaining a high standard of confidentiality and in line with the National Children’s Alliance program standards.  Salary range: $42-$45,000.

Community Educator

The Community Educator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing prevention education programs to increase awareness of child abuse and other threats to child safety in our community. The program’s goal is to raise awareness of the prevalence and consequences of child abuse by educating the community, including school age children, about the steps they can take to recognize and prevent child abuse. Salary Range: $43,000 - $46,000.
