Thank you for registering to attend the Bivona Child Abuse Summit

Thank you for registering for the 2019 Bivona Child Abuse Summit. on Wednesday April 24th, and Thursday April 25th. For easy check in, please bring the ticket you received via email with your registration payment confirmation. This ticket is not necessary — but it will help to expedite the check-in process.

We're excited to announce that more than 1,000 professionals from New York State and beyond are registered to attend this year's Summit.

The Summit will be held at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center in Rochester, New York (123 Main St). Registration and breakfast begin at 8 a.m. with the Summit program beginning at 9 a.m. on both days. Below are some important pieces of information about the 2019 Summit.

Workshop Information

A complete list of workshops with room breakouts is available to print from our website. Attendees are not required to pre-select workshops, but with the large turnout expected this year, we suggest having an idea of which workshops you'd like to attend. A full listing of workshops and locations is also available on the Summit app (See below on accessing the app).

NYS Social Work CEUs

If you are interested in receiving NYS Social Work CEUs, you must attend both full days of the conference, as well as check in and check out each day. If you did not sign up for NYS Social Work CEUs at registration and require them, please contact Shawn Missal at smissal@bivonacac.orgby 4 p.m. on April 23.

Parking Information

Spaces downtown will be limited due to several conferences taking place this week. We encourage you to carpool and allow ample time to park. Parking WILL NOT be validated at this year's Summit.

Don't Miss Wednesday's Welcome Ceremony!

Thursday’s Welcome Ceremony starts at 9:00 a.m. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. Be sure to allow yourself ample time to park, register, and grab some breakfast. 

Welcome Ceremony will feature:
- Gates Keystone Club Police Pipes & Drum Unit
- U.S. Department of Homeland Security Honor Guard
- National anthem sung by Brianna Collichio

Networking Reception

Following Wednesday's last workshop, join us from 5-7:30 p.m. for a complimentary Olympics-themed networking reception at The Rochester Riverside Hotel in the Riverview Ballroom (120 E Main St, Rochester, NY 14604)

Don your favorite athletic gear and enjoy complimentary appetizers and music, pose as an Olympic medal winner or a jumping gymnast, check out our photo booth, participate in some Olympic (themed) games, win prizes, and have a drink on us!

We will be using Attendify again this year to host our Bivona Child Abuse Summit app. This will allow attendees to follow the conference schedule, find out event information, learn about speakers, and more. To access the app, visit the App store (Apple) or Google Play (Android), search "Attendify", and download. Once you've done that, open the app and search for "Bivona" - this year's Summit app will pop up. Click on "Have and Event Code?" and enter event code "Bivona2019" and then click on the Bivona app. Open the app and click "join", and either create an account, or log in to your existing one, and you'll be redirected to the full conference app. Find more detailed, photographic instructions here.
