Thank you for registering for the 10th Annual Bivona Child Abuse Summit on April 26-27, 2018. For easy check in, please bring your ticket with you that you received in your email confirmation when you registered for the Summit. This ticket is not necessary; but it will help to expedite the check-in process.
The Summit will be held at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center in Rochester, New York (123 Main St).
Please dress appropriately for varying temperatures.
We are pleased to announce that more than 800 professionals from across New York and surrounding states are registered! Thanks to your support, we look forward to another great year.
- Workshop Information
A complete list of workshops with room breakouts is available to download from our website. Although attendees are not required to pre-select workshops, please have an idea of which workshops you'd like to attend. A full listing will be made available to you on the Summit app.
- NYS Social Work CEUs
If you are interested in receiving NYS Social Work CEUs, you must attend both full days of the conference. You also must check in and out each day. If you did not sign up for NYS Social Work CEUs at registration and require them, please contact Shawn Missal at email@example.com by April 23, 2018.
- Parking Information
The Rochester Riverside Convention Center is located across the street from the South Avenue Parking Garage, which serves as the main parking facility for the convention center. Parking is free for Summit attendees. Please bring your parking ticket with you for validation. The parking validators only work with the South Avenue Parking Garage. If you do not park in this garage, you will need to pay and then provide us with a receipt for reimbursement after the conference.
Please Note: If you are staying at the Hyatt Regency or Hilton Garden Inn, your parking is complimentary through the hotel. It is not necessary to validate a parking ticket at the Summit.
- Don't Miss Thursday's Welcome Ceremony!
Thursday’s Welcome Ceremony starts at 9:00 a.m. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. Be sure to allow yourself ample time to park, register, and grab some breakfast. Welcome Ceremony will feature the Gates Keystone Club Police Pipes & Drum Unit, the Greece Police Department Color Guard and the National anthem sung by Avis Lewis.
- Tailgate Networking Reception
Following Thursday's last workshop, join us from 5-7:30 p.m. for a complimentary Tailgate themed networking reception at The Hyatt Regency Hotel (125 East Main Street). Wear your favorite sports jersey and enjoy complimentary appetizers and music, get your picture taken with Jon Dorenbos (a cardboard cut-out that is!) and have a complimentary drink on us!
- Bivona Child Abuse Summit App
As part of Bivona's efforts to "Go Green," electronic copies of session handouts and PowerPoint presentations (if applicable) will be available for download by conference participants using the app. See below for more information on how to download this year's conference app.
Bivona Child Abuse Summit 2018 Conference App!
We made a few adjustments to this year's app. Follow the instructions below to access the official 2018 conference app. The Bivona Child Abuse Summit conference app can be found within the Attendify App. Follow the easy steps below to access this year's app and create your account today.
To access the app, please use the event code provided in your attendee welcome emails.
- Step 1: Visit the App Store or the Google Play Store and download the Attendify App (search "Attendify App").

- Step 2: Open the Attendify App, click the search bar and then click "Have an Event Code? Enter Here" located under the search bar. Do not enter the event code in the "Search Events" section.
*You can also find the Summit App through the search by searching "Bivona Child Abuse Summit," but you will be asked to input the event code either way, so entering the code to start will bypass an additional step.
- Step 3: Enter the event code when prompted to access the Summit app. The event code will be sent to registered Summit attendees several times before the event. You must be a registered attendee to access the event app.
- Step 4: Click "Join" to access the Summit app.
- Step 5: Create an account.
- Step 6: Update your profile. Add the information you'd like to share to your profile.
- Step 7: Access all of the exciting details for the 10th Annual Summit! The app includes a full schedule, speaker bios, an interactive event map and more!
