Tuesday, November 29, 2016 (the day after Cyber Monday) is a big day in the Rochester community (and beyond) for nonprofits.  There are three online giving events in our community being celebrated on this day.

At Bivona Child Advocacy Center, it is a day to not only encourage people to support our work by making an online donation, it is an opportunity to educate people and encourage everyone to share information about Bivona throughout our community.

We are asking you to help raise awareness and funds for Bivona. If you are unable to make a monetary donation, we ask that you share information we post on this day with your friends, family, co-workers, and others to help spread awareness about child abuse. Child abuse is 100% preventable, and we need your help to stop it for good.

Here are ways you can be involved
•    GIVE: Make a gift online
•    CONNECT: Follow Bivona on Facebook
•    LEARN: On November 29th we will be posting educational information on our Facebook page
•    SHARE:  Share our social media posts with your friends, family, and neighbors

If you participate in any of the online events listed below, please use their hashtag as well as #ISupportBivona.

A global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.  Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

A 24-hour online giving event that provides donors an opportunity to support not-for-profit organizations doing great work in the Greater Rochester by making donations through a special website designed by the United Way of Great Rochester.

A day dedicated to giving back to nonprofits throughout New York State by way of a 24-hour fundraising challenge that works to raise awareness, build support, and increase shared philanthropy throughout communities that span the vast state of New York.
