Jill Knittel
Vice Chairperson
Jill Knittel, Vice President, joined the leadership team at Employee Relations Associates in 2009. As a highly experienced executive recruiter, Jill leverages 12 years of leadership, management, sales, and retained/contingent search experience. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation as a “partner” to her client companies, focusing on building long-term relationships with clients and potential candidates. She works closely with companies ranging in size from less than 10 employees to more than 10,000, providing consistent and exclusive service, while meeting each unique need.
From 2007 to 2009, Jill served as Partner at Worldleaders, a national retained/contingent search firm that led executive searches for client companies in various industries. She developed key strategies that drove growth and stability of this company, including corporate structure and internal talent acquisition. Prior to that position, Jill held roles of increasing responsibility for Advantage Professionals, LLC from 1997 to 2007. As Vice President for two years, she managed all aspects of external sales, marketing, recruitment, and permanent/contract placement. She also held the titles of Division Director and Placement Manager. Her previous employers include Neighborhood Housing Services of Rochester, Inc. and PriceWaterhouseCooper, LLP.
As an individual who is committed to the community, Jill serves on several boards and committees, such as the Eyes on the Future Economic Summit Planning Committee. She is also the President of the St. John Fisher Alumni Board. Additionally, she is an Executive Committee Member of Duplessis Wolfe Accounting Society, and has served as Emcee for annual awards banquet and as guest speaker. Jill received an “outstanding young alumna” award from St. John Fisher in 2004. She is a current Board Member and past President of the Rochester Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. She also is an active board member with the Small Business Council of Rochester and serves as the Membership Chair of the Women’s Executive Network of Rochester.
Jill completed a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Accounting at St. John Fisher College. She was a recipient of the Rochester’s Business Journal’s prestigious Forty Under 40 award in 2006. While Jill is dedicated to her work, she also enjoys the time she spends with her husband and daughter in Greece, New York.
