Western NY Club Managers Team Up To Help Abused Children
Annual golf tournament raises critical funds for Bivona Child Advocacy Center
ROCHESTER, NEW YORK- September 8, 2009
Midvale Country Club was host to the New York State Chapter Club Manager’s Association of America Director’s Golf Classic Charity Golf Tournament held on Monday August 31, 2009.
Nearly one hundred Western New York area club managers and associates teamed up for a day of golf, fellowship and good fun. In keeping with the Association’s tradition, all proceeds raised were donated to charity. With the continued support from the tournament’s corporate sponsor GC Supply, the numerous tee and other sponsors as well as the generous tournament players, over $9,000 was raised. For the second year in a row, proceeds were donated to the Bivona Child Advocacy Center, a safe, welcoming place where children who have been sexually or physically abused can begin their journey of healing.
