Triathlon for Bivona and our community's children
Support Andy Kubrich in his quest to conquer the Musselman Triathlon, while helping make a difference in the lives of thousands of abused children.
On Sunday, July 17, 2011, Andy will be participating in the Musselman Half-Iron Triathlon in Geneva, New York. Before most of us are even awake, Andy will be preparing to complete a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride and 13.1-mile run – over 70 miles in all!
Help make Andy reach his goals – to make it to the finish line – and to raise $5,000 for the Bivona Child Advocacy Center.
Bivona Child Advocacy Center is a tremendous organization that dedicates itself to the safety and healing of abused children. As a father, uncle, brother and son, I am very thankful for that mission of keeping kids safe. About Bivona Child Advocacy Center
Bivona Child Advocacy Center, a non-profit organization, is a safe, welcoming place where children who have been sexually or physically abused can begin their journey to recovery. Bivona staff facilitate an under-one-roof collaboration of social and legal agencies to protect, treat and counsel child victims and their families, and to investigate and prosecute the abusers. Bivona provides a compassionate, efficient, cost-effective infrastructure for child abuse intervention.
Bivona Child Advocacy Center is the only agency in the Greater Rochester community to provide these services. More than 1,000 children are helped at Bivona each year. Although Bivona receives some government funding, the majority of its support comes from donors. Bivona Child Advocacy Center is an accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance (nca-online.org). The Bivona Child Advocacy Center has quickly become a resource to the community for all issues related to child sexual abuse. For more information, please visit www.BivonaCAC.org.
