Family Advocate

Note: There are two open family advocate positions at Bivona Child Advocacy Center

Bivona is seeking two Family Advocates to provide direct advocacy support services to children and their non-offending family members. Our Family Advocates play an integral role in the path to healing for children and their families by monitoring case progress, maintaining client files, and documenting services. A Family Advocate is expected to perform all job duties according to professional ethics, maintaining a high standard of confidentiality.

RESTORE Sexual Assault Services

  • RESTORE Counselor - Orleans/Genesee County
    In support of Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York’s (PPCWNY’s) mission, the RESTORE Counselor provides crisis intervention, short-term counseling, advocacy and referral services. His/her secondary focus will be the supervision and coordination of the RESTORE Volunteer program in Orleans and Genesee counties.

  • Child Victim Advocate - Rochester, NY
    In support of Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York’s (PPCWNY’s) mission, the Child Victim Advocate provides support to child victims of sexual and physical abuse, including crisis intervention, follow-up counseling, advocacy, and referral services. This position will work collaboratively with community agencies to reduce systemic trauma to children and their families, and to advocate for successful case resolutions for children and to provide support/guidance to non-offending significant others.
